Through these activities, they learned about traditional customs such as moon appreciation, carrying lanterns, reunion and sharing blessings. They observed the ingredients, moulds and steps, and under teachers\u2019 guidance, kneaded, pressed and completed their own mooncakes. They also joined different game booths to experience classic episodes, character traits and story scenes from the journey.<\/p>\n<h4>Activity Objectives<\/h4>\n<p>To introduce children to Chinese classical literature and mythological stories, and help them understand values such as perseverance, courage, wisdom and cooperation.
